- # We are in north-eastern part of Thailand, which is considered the hottest, and driest part of thecountry. Most people in rural areas have problems about clean consuming water, which result in manykinds of stomach diseases, found in this part of country, highest percentage in Thailand. The water project will enable students, teachers and villagers who live near the schools to have clean water fortheir uses.
- # The clean water systems can provide clean drinking water for the students and their nearby families,and will result in good healths and less expenses for healths in all, so the school and the people inthe villages will give hands on maintaining the system.
- # The host and the international Clubs will communicate via email, or telephone and fax. The host rotaryclub will survey for suitable project sites for clean water systems, which consists of Water tanks,drill a well, water filters, pumps and pipes, etc., in Udonthani, and then propose to the Club'scommittee for approval. Then the project will get into processes. Rtr.Hobin Im, a member of the MagkangRotary club was a native Korean in Cheongju City, help making contacts with the Okcheon RC for thisClean Water MG project, and hopefully their members will visit us to follow up with the result.
